The Chocolate Log

Too much of anything is not good. Well....Chocolate is my vice. Giving up my favorite thing EVER won't be an easy journey....but I reckon it's all about the potential inner growth I hope to achieve. Please enjoy my CHOCOLATE LOG:

Day 1 without chocolate: it's dark. So dark. I see shadows....mom? Mom? Is that you? I'm scared and it's cold. So ccccold.

Day 2 without chocolate: Not off to a good start. When I saw my dog....I thought she was a chocolate bunny. I guess she didn't mind the initial nibble....but then she caught on pretty fast. The look of terror in her eyes will haunt me for the rest of the day. Poor puppy.

Day 3 without chocolate: Nothing seems right today. The sun isn't as bright....The flowers aren't as fragrant....The birds aren't as perky....Doobie is wearing a men's dress shirt....Remembering when Campbell farted in my office just wasn't the same either...It just wasn't as funny.

Day 4 without chocolate: This Hershey's Krackel bar is like.....the elephant in the room.

Day 1 with chocolate: I went up against the Krackel bar and lost. I didn't stand a chance. But it's all good. No really....it was alllll goooodddd...mmmmmmm.

Christmas flew by!

Another Christmas Season has officially ended! But I have to ask....when did it begin? The whole season literally iceskated by me this year! I didn't get a chance to take the kids around the neighborhood to see all the Christmas lights, which was a Stroud family tradition!! The kids didn't notice though....they were so fascinated by our yard. Daddy (aka Clark Griswold) decorated like a champ, even had the lights on the house dancing with the really loud Christmas music outside. I'm sure the neighbors loved hearing the happy tunes until the timer went off around 11pm *giggle/snort*. Jason and I literally had the busiest December ever this year! There was not even 1 weekend that we didn't have to do something or be somewhere - but we had lots of fun!!
